Jade Turner is a primary school teacher who loses her job after going on a bender and gambling away her last pay packet. At risk of losing custody of her son, a surprise bequest pulls Jade out of her downward spiral. She Seizes the chance to restore her lost friend's home, but Ryan is nothing like the boy she once knew. The locals tell her he has been accused of murder and may have tampered with his mother's will to get her there. Whilst cleaning up Jade finds evidence something sinister happened at the property, but she pushes on, maybe love is worth the risk after all.
